How does the timer work?
Click start to begin tracking time. Assign a client, project, and task while the timer runs or after you stop it. Duration is calculated automatically.
Can I enter time manually?
Yes. You can log time after the fact by entering start and end times, or just a duration. Manual entries work the same as timed entries for reporting and invoicing.
How does Wave invoicing work?
Connect your Wave account and sync tracked time directly to invoices. Swell maps your time entries to Wave line items so you can bill clients without re-entering anything.
Can I set different rates for different projects?
Yes. You can set rates per project, per team member, or both. The most specific rate always wins. All rates are stored as exact amounts to avoid rounding issues.
What reports are available?
